Charles Garland is a freelance producer/director/writer. He co-devised "The Other Half" which ran on BBC1 on a Saturday evening for 3 years and has many projects in development.

Current projects include an adaptation of the stage play "Death Duty" for television, which has been re-written as a 2 x 1 hour drama.

Various game shows and reality shows are in development - see the home page for details on the latest game show project.

Charles was also closely involved with TAPS - a charitable organisation for writers in film and television. Charles assisted Jill James in the running of The Comedy Writer's Workshop and Showcase Festival. Lack of funding in the last year or two caused this unique and worthy organisation to close. Many new writers will find success even more elusive with the demise of TAPS. A sad time for the future of British writing.

Watch out for new projects very soon !
